New Executive Director Announced

At their January 2019 INC Board meeting, the Board of Directors appointed Dalila Alegria as the organization’s new Executive Director effective April 1, 2019.  Dalila has been with INC since 2016 as Operations Manager, and has coordinated a number of significant operational, financial, and technological enhancements across the organization. She is eager to serve the community in this new capacity.  Congratulations Dalila!

2019 Lyle E. Oncken Community Services Award Nominations

The Board of Directors of INC Board, NFP is seeking nominations for this year’s Lyle E. Oncken Community Services Award.

This award was created by the Board in 1990 in honor of its retired executive director to recognize individuals or organizations of Aurora, Batavia, Big Rock, Blackberry, Kaneville, Sugar Grove or Virgil Townships who have made outstanding contributions in support of services to persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities or substance abuse disorders within our area.

Executive Director to Retire

After working for INC for over 28 years, the last 17 as Executive Director, Jerry Murphy has decided to retire, effective no later than June 30, 2019.  The INC Board will be establishing a search committee for Murphy’s successor in the very near future. 

Jerry plans to move to the Madison, WI area, joining the rest of his immediate family.  He also plans on remaining a Chicago Bears fan, despite moving to the Land of Cheese.

We wish him the best in his retirement and he will be greatly missed!!!
