Mental Health

Mental health refers to cognitive, behavioral, and emotional well-being. It is all about how people think, feel, and behave.

Comprising approximately 71% of our funding, mental health is one of the three focuses of INC Mental Health Alliance.  Mental health services funded by INC include prevention and education, advocacy, evaluation, and treatment for all ages.

Substance Use Disorder

A substance use disorder (SUD) is a mental disorder that affects a person’s brain and behavior, leading to a person’s inability to control their use of substances such as legal or illegal drugs, alcohol, or medications.

Agencies providing SUD services offer residential, prevention, education, evaluation, and treatment to adolescents and adults within our service area.  Our SUD Roundtable offers an opportunity for all providers in the area to share within our community.

Developmental / Intellectual Disabilities

Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities are differences that are usually present at birth and that uniquely affect the trajectory of the individual’s physical, intellectual, and/or emotional development.

Funding for DD/ID services within our area provide support, education, and aftercare support for families navigating a diagnosis.  We support programs that assist families with the needs they manage on an ongoing basis.
